The FSM library is a set of general-purpose software tools for building, combining, optimizing, and searching weighted finite-state acceptors and transducers.

The GRM Library (Grammar Library) is a set of general-purpose software tools for constructing, modifying, and compiling grammars.


CoreNLP will be installed to /usr/local/CoreNLP-3.7.0 with a symlink pointing to /usr/local/corenlp. The convenience script corenlp.sh has been symlinked as corenlp and can be used as follows:

corenlp -annotators tokenize,ssplit -file example.txt

Illinois Curator NLP


In order to use curator from within Anaconda, thrift and cogcomp must be installed using the following commands:

conda install -c https://conda.anaconda.org/dan_blanchard thrift
conda install -c https://conda.anaconda.org/cwhits cogcomp 

Please not that if conda is not part of your path, you may need to use /anaconda/bin/conda or ~/anaconda/bin/conda
